The words in this frame name special events and celebrations with cultural significance. Most of them recur periodically (typically every year). Frequently, the Name of the holiday or festival is mentioned in conjuction with a Time_unit, and possibly a Specifier that gives detail about when the Time_unit is. Sometimes a duration is mentioned, but it is not marked as a frame element.

Examples:
